Pathological diagnostics

Histopathological diagnoses at the microscope are fundamental for the classification and treatment of many diseases. For almost all tumors and many inflammatory conditions, microscopic evaluation is required to obtain a precise disease classification. Subsequent tumor surgery may take place only if the histological diagnosis is unequivocal and reproducible. At Virchow Laboratoriees these procedures are strictly following the guidelines of the WHO, UICC or other international scientific societies.

Due to many years of diagnostic experience and internationally renowned research activities, almost all clinically relevant fields are covered by organ-orientated specialists employed at or associated with Virchow Laboratories.
